Make a slowed + reverb version of any song

Slowed + reverb is the dreamy, spacious sound of a song played a little slower and deeper, in a big room. This tool makes it from any song on your device: pick a preset, adjust the speed and the reverb while the song plays, then download the result as MP3 or WAV. It also makes sped-up and nightcore versions. Everything runs in your browser with the Web Audio API, so the song is never uploaded.

How to make a slowed + reverb song

  1. Drop a song on the box above, or choose it: MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG or a video.
  2. Click “Slowed + reverb” and press play.
  3. Adjust the speed, the amount of reverb and the room size until it sounds right.
  4. Click “Make the file” and download it as MP3 or WAV.

What the controls do

Sped-up and nightcore versions

Above 1× the song gets faster and higher. “Sped up” plays it at 1.25×, the usual speed of sped-up songs on TikTok and Reels; “Nightcore” at 1.3× with a touch of reverb.

The pitch moves with the speed

Like a record or a tape, the song gets deeper when slowed and higher when sped up: that is the sound slowed + reverb is known for. To change the tempo and keep the original pitch, use the audio speed changer instead.

Privacy

The song is decoded, slowed and given its reverb in your browser; the room's echo is computed on your device too. Nothing is sent to a server, and the finished file is saved straight from the page.

Want a karaoke version first? The vocal remover takes the voice out of a song. To keep only the best part, cut it with the audio trimmer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a slowed and reverb song?
Drop the song on this page, click the “Slowed + reverb” preset, listen and adjust the speed and reverb, then click “Make the file” and download the MP3 or WAV.
What speed is used for slowed + reverb?
Usually 0.8× to 0.9×. The preset uses 0.85× with 35% reverb in a 4-second room; slower than 0.75× starts to sound muddy.
Can I make a sped-up or nightcore version?
Yes. Choose “Sped up” (1.25×) or “Nightcore” (1.3× with a little reverb), or set any speed up to 1.5×.
Does slowing the song down change its pitch?
Yes, on purpose: the pitch follows the speed, as on a record. To slow a song down without changing the pitch, use the audio speed changer.
Is my song uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser using the Web Audio API; the song never leaves your device.
Can I post the result on TikTok or YouTube?
The file is yours to save and play. Whether you may publish it depends on the rights to the original song, as with any remix.
